There is no fee to participate in The Notebook Project.  The only expense you may have is if you decide to mail the notebook to a friend, family member, or back to us, then you will incur the cost of postage.  That’s it.

Getting Started

    1. If you want to participate in the traveling notebooks, please email us to request a notebook.  Be sure to include your name, address, and phone number, in case we need to contact you down the line. 

      If you are going to participate online, click on Online Notebook instructions.

    2. For inspiration, read the poem, “A Power Such as the World has Ever Seen” by Kathe Schaaf, 2006,
      and “One of my Breakthrough Moments” by Judy Ranieri, 2002.

    3. Add your voice to the project.  You may write something personal, include a favorite poem, use a photo, draw, collage a page or two, or share a quote that has impacted your life…whatever you feel called to share.  The most important thing is to have fun and explore your creativity.

    4. Next, sent the notebook on its way and send us a postcard or email, letting us know where it is.  We also encourage you to keep a copy of what you have enclosed for your own personal use.
